Sendoo and WhatsApp: what it is (and what it is not)

Sendoo is an independent platform that helps you integrate and manage WhatsApp messaging via APIs. It is not WhatsApp, and it is not owned, operated, sponsored or endorsed by Meta.

What Sendoo does

• Helps you send and receive WhatsApp messages through API integrations.

What Sendoo does not do

• It does not replace WhatsApp or Meta services and it does not grant special privileges.

Marketing on WhatsApp: what you should know

WhatsApp is a consent-based channel. In practice, marketing is only sustainable when:

• You have a clear opt-in from the recipient (and proof of it).
• You keep frequency reasonable and offer an easy opt-out.
• Your content is relevant and does not trigger complaints (blocks, reports).

If your goal is "cold outreach" or mass campaigns without consent, WhatsApp is typically not the right channel and the risk of account limitations is high.

Why WhatsApp may block a number (even if you use Sendoo)

• Recipients frequently block or report messages.
• Messages are unsolicited or the consent is unclear.
• Sudden volume spikes or suspicious sending patterns.
• Content that violates policies (misleading claims, prohibited goods/services, etc.).

Recommended best practices

• Collect opt-in with a checkbox/form and store date, source and scope.
• Be explicit about what users will receive and how often.
• Provide a simple opt-out (e.g. "Reply STOP").
• Start with low volumes and monitor quality indicators (blocks/complaints).
